VOAFit is a concierge medical practice specializing in GLP-1 weight loss, hormone, and advanced peptide therapies. Dr. Ian Ellis founded and runs the practice. Patients are on complex, ongoing treatment regimens that require careful tracking of medication levels, dosing, weight, and inventory.

VOAFit needed a patient-facing app that could handle advanced measurement of medication levels, medication tracking, weight tracking, and medication inventory tracking. Other agencies quoted Dr. Ellis at timelines that didn’t fit the practice’s growth curve. He needed something usable in months, not a year.

We took the engagement on with our standard model: a senior US developer dropped into the project, with the rest of the team available behind them as supporting resources. Communication was a mix of in-person meetings, virtual calls, and async messaging, whatever fit the moment.

Speed didn’t mean shortcuts. We held the test code coverage close to one-to-one with application code throughout the build, so the system would behave reliably under real patient load.

The MVP shipped in under three months. It handles advanced measurement of medication levels, ongoing medication tracking, weight tracking, and inventory tracking for the practice’s patient population. Test coverage was kept tight: 25,000 lines of test code against 35,000 lines of application code.

VOAFit went from kickoff to a working patient app MVP in under three months, against quotes from other agencies that ran two to three times that timeline. The app is in active use and the engagement is ongoing.

VOAFit is on the ongoing engagement model. The app continues to expand as the practice’s therapy mix and patient base grow. New tracking, integrations, and patient-experience improvements roll out month over month.
